      3 **star-phor** is a radiative transfer solver for photoreactors. Built
      4 upon the **star-phor-input** configuration file specification and the
      5 **sphin** library, it structures physical and geometrical data to
      6 facilitate path sampling and to estimate the solution of the radiative
      7 transfer equation as the expectation of random variables using the Monte
      8 Carlo method.

     10 **star-phor** is capable of handling complex photoreactive
     11 configurations, and its computation time is independent of the
     12 geometrical complexity and scale ratios used to describe them.
